Macton Train Hoist at Honolulu Authority Rapid Transit
/Check out the Photo of the Week from Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation! "In the photo of the week, one of HART's four-car trains is propped up by a Macton Train Hoist. This is no small task considering, each rail car is 65-feet long and weighs 72,000 pounds! Doing the math, that means each train is 260-feet long, tipping the scales at a whopping 288,000 pounds or 144 tons...that is a heavy-duty hoist!"
